Fan belts, Flips, Blown Engines and a Near Win

Friday night was a wild and crazy night at Donnelson. There was so much happening on the track. People like Jeff Mueller (stock car) blew their engines. Josh Foster (modified points leader) got into a wreck, parking his car on lap two. Dean Kratzer went on a not so fun ride (flipping down the back stretch) totalling his car. Jake Wineg lost his steering and landed in the third turn guard rail. Just to mention a few. Cars were all over the track, which was very hard on the equipment.

Joe bOOm Blevin (sport-mod) was a man on a mission though. He won his heat race and almost pulled off a feature win. It was good to see the 20 car have a strong night.
Great job Joe, really want to see you get one at Donnelson!!

For us it was a short night. I lost my fan belts on the fourth lap and that was it for us. We were able to salvage a 13th finish and now it is time to put in my re-freshed bullet in the car today. With three weeks left, you can tell that the season is starting to play havoc on the crews and drivers.

I want to thank Bobby Anders for loaning me his engine for the past couple of weeks, getting us through a tough patch. I appreciate the kindness and look to return the favor one day.

Bobby's 9 to 1
